Expertise
Iulia is a business-minded lawyer whose practice includes dispute resolution, intellectual property, and consumer protection. Her legal expertise is complemented by her previous experience as CEO, founder, and investor in entrepreneurial and venture capital businesses.
Iulia acts in civil and commercial litigation cases, with a focus on IP rights (including trademarks, copyright, and domain names) and concerning complex matters involving brand protection, cancellation and revocation proceedings, infringement of IP rights, customs proceedings, etc. She represents clients before the Romanian courts and other national and international authorities such as the Romanian State Office for Patents and Trademarks (OSIM), EUIPO, or WIPO, in both her capacity as a lawyer and a licensed European trademark and design attorney.
Her current practice also includes consumer protection disputes (representing large retailers in relation to the National Authority for Consumer Protection) and gaming & gambling disputes.
Iulia combines courtroom strategy with business experience in emerging and deploying venture capital, setting up and scaling the business from inception to exit.
