The difficulties related to good faith in data protection derive from the way companies apply the principles of transparency and responsibility enshrined in the GDPR. In practice, attention should be focused on the clarity of the information provided to data subjects and on the documentation of processing decisions, in order to demonstrate compliance with the principle of accountability.
