Preparing our participation to the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Annual Meeting, we always say: “Let’s Rubik INTA. Because every angle counts!”
George Irimescu attended the conference in San Diego, California, from 17-21 May 2025.
What’s our take on his participation to this global IP classic that constantly reimagines itself?
When you explore all angles, engage, and contribute, the whole picture is shaping before you — one colorful side at a time. Like the Rubik.
the key takeaways shared by George include:
- One of the most meaningful moments was reconnecting with the Harmonization of Trademark Law and Practice Committee. Their progress and the upcoming restructuring of INTA’s committees — guided by a fresh strategic vision — demonstrate that structure and agility can coexist. To note that currently, George serves as vice-chair of the committee.
- INTA is also where learning happens. The panel on AI and data analytics offered three rich perspectives — from businesses, IP practitioners, and service providers. It is thought-provoking and utterly relevant to the future of our practice.
- And yes, if you ever find yourself in San Diego… a Padres game in the California sun is a reminder that connection isn’t always about business cards — sometimes it’s about shared moments and local cheers.
