At the inaugural Legal 500 CEE Awards, Ana-Maria Baciu, Managing Partner, was recognized as “Romania Lawyer of the Year”.

Ana-Maria is, thus, the first lawyer active in Romania to ever receive this exceptional distinction.

noted Ana-Maria, who attended the ceremony that took place in Warsaw, in October 2025.

She was also shortlisted for CEE Partner of the Year and IP Lawyer of the Year.

This award follows a series of international independent recognitions earned by Ana-Maria Baciu in recent years, including being named Managing IP “Romanian Practitioner of the Year” for two consecutive years (2023 & 2024), nine consecutive inclusions in the Top 250 Women in IP, and being one of only two lawyers in Romania recognized as Global Market Leader in Gaming by Chambers & Partners.

At the same gala, BACIU PARTNERS was named “CEE IP Firm of the Year”.
