BACIU PARTNERS has successfully hosted the pilot edition of L.I.N.K. Accelerator, a new initiative dedicated to law students. Designed as a practical laboratory and an open exchange of perspectives, the bootcamp explores legal knowledge beyond the traditional boundaries between disciplines.
L.I.N.K. – Legal Insights & Navigating Knowhow – stems from a simple reality observed in daily practice: legal problems are rarely neatly silosed, rather, they intersect, overlap, and influence one another, requiring a concrete understanding of the broader business context, its people, and the strategic and operational goals that must be validated by both the legal framework.
Designed as a condensed two-day bootcamp and rolled out at the beginning of October 2026, the inaugural edition of L.I.N.K. Accelerator facilitated the interaction of 10 law students with BACIU PARTNERS lawyers across various practice areas. The participants, selected through a competitive process conducted throughout 2026, tackled real-life contexts drawn from the firm’s daily activity. Together, they explored the connections between corporate law, commercial law, data protection, employment law, intellectual property, industry-specific regulatory matters, and litigation strategies.
“One of our key responsibilities as professionals is to contribute not only to the transfer of knowledge, but also to cultivating a certain mindset. Legal practice is becoming increasingly complex, and the ability to see connections and integrate different perspectives is essential. L.I.N.K. Accelerator was born out of the desire to create a framework where students can start experimenting this way of thinking as early as possible,” stated Ana-Maria Baciu, Managing Partner at BACIU PARTNERS.
The bootcamp format focuses on exposing participants to how legal issues are identified, analyzed, and managed in practice. The emphasis is placed not just on providing the legal answer, but on asking the right questions before formulating it.
“In our daily work, a lawyer rarely receives a perfectly defined problem. More often than not, the first step is identifying what is actually in front of us, what other implications exist, and which colleagues or additional perspectives need to be brought to the table. Having visibility over the entire context often makes all the difference. This is precisely the approach we aimed to bring to L.I.N.K.: less ‘which article applies?’ and more ‘what do we need to see to truly understand the problem?'” added Adela Nuță, Managing Associate at BACIU PARTNERS and legal coordinator of the first edition of L.I.N.K. Accelerator.
Beyond the purely legal framework, this new signature BACIU PARTNERS initiative serves as a platform for exploring complementary topics, with a strong focus on effective communication, meaningful relationship-building, and how diverse roles and skill sets join forces to deliver relevant solutions to clients.
“A guiding principle behind every new initiative we launch is complementarity. Experience has shown us that students need to discover that enriching any legal answer, there is almost always another layer of questions: Who are we solving this problem for? Why does it matter to them? What are the stakes? What is the business trying to achieve? Who else needs to be at the decision-making table, and how do we make different backgrounds work together efficiently? L.I.N.K. is very much about this complementarity. It’s also about having the curiosity to look beyond your own field of practice, about building connections, and, above all, about making a habit of asking ‘why?’ before taking the step toward ‘how?'” explained Anca Ștefănescu Toma, initiator of L.I.N.K. Accelerator.
L.I.N.K. Accelerator is part of BACIU PARTNERS’ ongoing series of educational initiatives aimed at fostering dialogue, knowledge sharing, and a closer bridge between legal practice and the upcoming generation of lawyers.
In a fresh, condensed format, the bootcamp continues a core direction the firm consistently pursues: amplifying the sound of knowledge—rooted in the conviction that the value of knowledge multiplies when it is shared.
The BACIU PARTNERS team involved in this first edition of the bootcamp also included Cosmin Todirașcu, Cristina Stoica, Bianca Tudose, Denisa Drăgușin, Laura Șendroiu, Marta Datcu, Ileana Nicolescu-Decsei and Raluca Comănescu.
Student-dedicated initiatives are coordinated firm-wide by Ileana Nicolescu-Decsei (Managing Associate), Raluca Comănescu (Chief HR & Admin Officer) and Anca Ștefănescu-Toma (Chief MKBD Officer).
