This recognition reflects a professional journey defined by consistency, strategic vision, and a relentless determination to position intellectual property as a genuine driver of innovation and business growth.
Over the years, Ana-Maria has built one of Romania’s most highly regarded IP practices. Beyond her case work, she remains deeply invested in the intellectual property community, actively shaping its future through mentoring, dialogue, and engagement.
This new inclusion in the Top 250 Women in IP follows an extraordinary sequence of accolades for Ana-Maria. Among her recent highlights, she became the first-ever recipient of the Romania Lawyer of the Year award at The Legal 500 Central & Eastern Europe Awards (October 2025). Furthermore, she holds the distinction of being the most awarded Romanian practitioner in the history of the Managing IP EMEA Awards, specifically in the Romania – Practitioner of the Year category (2023, 2024 and 2026).
Reflecting on this latest distinction, Ana-Maria Baciu shared her perspective:
