Moot Court Competition in Intellectual Property | February 15 – March 30 | Bucharest
We are pleased to announce the organization of the 3rd edition of the Moot Court Competition on Intellectual Property Law in collaboration with our partners, ELSA Bucharest. The project is dedicated to students in the 3rd and 4th years at law faculties in Bucharest.
Participating in this program will give our next generation of colleagues an opportunity to explore the exciting and complex field of intellectual property with BACIU PARTNERS’ highly regarded practitioners, who are ready to share knowledge and insights that govern the global IP community.
The calendar of the 2025 edition includes the following key dates:
- Registration deadline: March 2 (using the form available HERE)
- Deadline for the submission of the Memorandum (written phase): March 16
- Training session for the students interested in taking part in the competition: March 6
- Oral pleadings in a moot hearing for the selected teams (oral round): March 29 (semifinals) and March 30 (finals).
- Feedback session for the teams participating in the oral pleadings: Date TBD.
Law students may register in teams of 2.

Prizes for the 2025 edition of the Moot Court Competition on Intellectual Property Law are:
- Winner: 2500 lei
- Runner-up: 2000 lei
- 3rd place: 1500 lei
- Best Speaker: 500 lei
- Best Memorandum: 500 lei
