In July 2024, ELSA Bucharest (The European Law Students’ Association Bucharest chapter) will organize one of the flagship activities of the organization, its traditional international summer school. The event is focused on mergers and acquisitions and dedicated to legal knowledge sharing, business-related skills crafting and cultural dip dive: SUMMER ELSA Law School (SELS) Bucharest on Mergers and Acquisitions.

An international event bringing together law students with different cultural and educational backgrounds, the SELS Bucharest on Mergers and Acquisitions is designed to broaden the perspectives of its participants who have a particular interest in the intricate field of transactional legal work.  Additionally, the event facilitates, as the organizers mentioned, “social and cultural programs that will give the participants the chance to learn about one another’s cultures, forge lasting international friendships, and uncover the wonders of Bucharest.”

During the first day of the summer school, Corina Roman, Managing Associate in our Corporate/M&A practice will deliver a presentation on Legal Insights into M&A.
